What is the difference between Redux and Stripe Smart Retries?

Stripe is a generalist tool designed to work for every business type, from B2B to local services. Redux is an official Stripe App Partner built specifically as a B2C upgrade layer. While Stripe Smart Retries provide a broad baseline, Redux uses AI models trained exclusively on consumer behavior and pay cycles. Key differences include:
Specialized B2C Logic: We manage the full spectrum of payment failures from soft declines like do_not_honor and generic_decline to hard declines like lost_card and stolen_ card. We also optimize for "Insufficient Funds" declines. These are common in B2C. We time retries to consumer cash flow rather than random intervals.
Separation of Emails and Retries: Unlike Stripe, we do not send an email for every retry attempt. This helps prevent increased churn. We coordinate smart emails and retries to protect the customer relationship.
Trial-to-Paid Optimization: Redux tracks and recovers trial conversions. This is a specific failure point that native Stripe tools often miss.
Risk-Free Billing: Redux only charges on the lift. This is the revenue recovered above the Stripe baseline. If we do not outperform Stripe, you pay nothing.
