Stop grouping all failed payments together. Break out trial-to-paid failures as a standalone loss category. This will give you a true look at your "Silent Drop" rate.
Review how many users reach the end of a trial but never become active due to a technical error. If this number is higher than 5%, you have a technical problem that needs to be fixed.
Standard retry logic is too blunt for consumer trials. You need an engine designed to navigate the specific timing and logic of high-volatility consumer cards to capture revenue that basic scripts simply leave behind.
